Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

The new xorg does not properly detect and configure my second monitor. I
am using a Dell laptop and a NEC lcd monitor. When I access Screens and
Graphics program, it detects only one generic monitor with a resolution
of 640X480. I found this strange because my laptop monitor was running
and xrandr said it was properly set to 1280X800.

I have a nvidia graphis card so I installed nvidia-settings, but because
there is no xorg.conf, it really cannot do much.

         Status: New
