Can I suggest that the importance of this bug be set to High (or whatever, I don't know what the options are). I think it is a serious bug, because right now the user's audio CD burning experience with a default install of Ubuntu is likely to be something like:
* Insert blank CD * Choose burn audio CD * Serpentine opens, drag audio files to serpentine. So far so good. * Don't realise that you have to set the disc capacity manually, burn several coasters, give up. Decide that Ubuntu cannot even burn audio CDs properly. * Or, you do realise that you have to set the disc capacity manually, your disc says it is 700MB, Serpentine needs the disc capacity in minutes, you don't know how many minutes 700MB is, burn up to three coasters in trial and error until you find out, or have to use Google to discover the capacity of your disc in minutes. Each mistake costs you a CD. That's really quite bad. -- Serpentine does not autoset disc capacity, no warning https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/55228 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
