I tested it with current Xorg from hardy. The problem persists. After some debugging and binary search in xorg.conf I found out that the bug only occurs at a colour depth of 16-bit.
The problem can be worked around by switching DefaultDepth in the Screen Section from 16 to 24. Please tell me if I can provide further information. ** Summary changed: - no videoplayer works correctly + [Gutsy and Hardy] no videoplayer works correctly ** Summary changed: - [Gutsy and Hardy] no videoplayer works correctly + [Gutsy,Hardy] no videoplayer works correctly -- [Gutsy,Hardy] no videoplayer works correctly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139845 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
