Hi Jeff, Interesting, thanks for the digging. I did search on the relevant bug trackers and mailing lists I could think of but couldn't find any similar bug report. I think this will require some debugging on an affected machine. To start with I'd try to find out which version of the freeipmi Ubuntu package first shows the problem. I'll discuss this bug with the team.
