Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kwave
Installed kwave 0.7.7 on a 64-bit Kubuntu installation, version 7.10 (Gutsy), using adept_manager. Installed successfully, but when I try to start kwave from the K Menu I only see the "Loading application..." hourglass entry in the window list. Starting from a shell yields the following: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ kwave This is Kwave 0.7.7 (using KDE 3.5.7) Benchmarking memcpy methods (smaller is better): libc memcpy() : 43919048 linux kernel memcpy() : 46152888 MMX optimized memcpy() : 46547000 MMXEXT optimized memcpy() : 104364536 SSE optimized memcpy() : 101755320 using -> 'libc memcpy()' and nothing else; the process continues to execute and does not return control to the shell, but it can be stopped by hitting Control-C in the terminal window, which kills the process and produces no further messages. ** Affects: kwave (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- kwave doesn't start on 64-bit Kubuntu Gutsy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173938 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
