"impossible to modify during setting or under normal session" I am not sure what you mean by this. I already mentioned that the GUI can not be used with the new driver.
Your "Current Xorg log, gutsy running" shows that you are using the vesa driver. I would like you to do what I asked in comment 9 plus remove the two sync lines. Then take a copy of this xorg.conf and attach it here later. Then I have to see the log from running with it (with the ati/radeon driver) to see what goes wrong.
