Public bug reported: Looking up user's public certificates in AD/LDAP fail while looking up with regular ldapsearch works without any issues.
ldapsearch -LLL -b DC=company,DC=com -H ldap://ADDC.company.com -Q -N '(cn=username)' userCertificate -z 10 -o ldif-wrap=no dn: CN=username,OU=CA,OU=User,OU=OU1,OU=ID,OU=OU2,DC=company,DC=com userCertificate:: MII...truncated Evolution can't look up these certificates and evolution's address book processes hang even crash evolution. The same configuration work both with ldapsearch and in thunderbird, but thunderbird is not an alternative in this case. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1875335 Title: evolution public certificate lookups in ldap fail To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/1875335/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
