I'm having a similar problem and unable to find a solution so far. I'm running an Ubuntu 18.04 derivative - Peppermint 10 Respin. I damaged my partition and had to install the system again and was able to restore many of my settings and all my files. The problem is that when I installed the system fresh I changed the computer name.
When Déjà-Dup is supposed to run it fails with the error message about the computer name change. I can run it by clicking on "Forward" but would like to have it running on it's own. Two problems I have with Déjà-Dup. I can't find a way around the computer name change problem and I would like to be able to set a specific time for the backup to occur. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1268182 Title: Computer name changed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/deja-dup/+bug/1268182/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
