Ubuntu 20.04, vala-panel from repository (version 0.4.91+dfsg1-2). Panel crashes when you try to remove Panel Items. Tested on XFCE4 session and GNOME X session. Steps to Reproduce 1) Launch vala-panel from terminal 2) Right click on panel > "Panel Items" - "Applets" 3) Try to remove any applet 4) Panel will crash It's possible to add items (like "AppMenu Plugin") but removal, at least for me, only doable via config editing. Please include patch from upstream.
