I would very much like to take a snapshot of what is happening while
I'm booting up, but I don't know how...
Using the Live CD, there's not much info, and I wouldn't want to
install the update, or I'll lose my current installation. So could you
please tell how can I take a screenshot of what appears in my screen
Or I could just write it on paper and then post it back on Launchpad,
but it's not much of a solution...

By the way, if in the Live CD I changed the linux-source-2.6.22  for a previous 
version could I then install Ubuntu? (or any other Ubuntu-based distro)
If yes, please tell which files I would have to change.
