Public bug reported: Hi,
When you do: echo 1 | clipit you would expect that "1" is saved in history. That worked correctly on 18.04. Now, on 20.04, it does not work (item can not be found in history, ex: when you list history items in GUI) Thank you, Igor Description: Ubuntu Focal Fossa (development branch) Release: 20.04 clipit: Installed: 1.4.4+git20190202-1 Candidate: 1.4.4+git20190202-1 Version table: *** 1.4.4+git20190202-1 500 500 http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04 Package: clipit 1.4.4+git20190202-1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.4.0-21.25-generic 5.4.27 Uname: Linux 5.4.0-21-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu24 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Wed Apr 8 12:24:13 2020 InstallationDate: Installed on 2020-04-01 (6 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS "Focal Fossa" - Beta amd64 (20200331) SourcePackage: clipit UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: clipit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug focal -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1871603 Title: clipit does not put in history when received from pipe To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/clipit/+bug/1871603/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
