Public bug reported:

This ticket is more related to the default configuration of journald in
Ubuntu, not to a bug in journald itself.

I was looking for a problem on my computer and used journalctl. The
first log entry was starting 2 years ago, showing that its content was
never erased or rotated.

By looking at the log size, it was about 3 GB, which is getting big for
a log file.

I think Ubuntu should ship with a default configuration to avoid this
log to grow too much.

I started with Ubuntu 18.04 and now I am using Ubuntu 20.04
