With current Ubuntu 18.04 installed on focal and the current bluez v5.48
(current Ubuntu 18.04 version):
I get the following error:
root@xxx:~# uname -a
Linux xxx 4.15.0-88-generic #88-Ubuntu SMP Tue Feb 11 20:11:34 UTC 2020 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
root@xxx:~# hcitool lescan
Could not open device: No such device
root@xxx:~# dpkg -l | grep bluez
ii bluez 5.48-0ubuntu3.4
amd64 Bluetooth tools and daemons
