Confirmed here. Actually, the same happens with photo's in landscape
mode: they are blown up to where they take the entire height of the
screen, and the right part is cropped off. This is not very noticeable
with 'normal' landscape photo's, but with wide photo's (e.g. those
created by stitching multiple photo's together) the error becomes
obvious.
