Henrik, just a question: How can you decide whether a fix for this bug meets a release criteria considering that there is no fix available yet to judge ? :-)
We still don't know what the problem is, it'seems to be a HW issue and there is no good workaround available neither at the moment (and irqpoll is certainly not a useable workaround). Once the problem is found, the fix may be as simple as a BIOS update, in which case there is just no point triaging it like that, or could be a one liner quirk, which could easily be applied to a stable release as this is a pretty severe bug... but we can't tell, we just don't know yet. -- kernel disables irq after 10 minutes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/126369 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
