THANS for your prompt reply! THIS time I reinstalled Ubuntu on my "FREE SPACE" on my "C" drive. It hung up at 83% installation. I rebooted and reinstalled a second time and it installed flawlessly. No "Grubby errors" this time. Lesson learned: "Iff'in at first you don't succeed... " Well you know the rest of it.
The bottom line: LOVE IT!!! :^) Thanks again! I received Error 21 on an empty disk installed in my computer. It failed on an Asus P5B systemboard running a Core2 Duo E-6600 processor. I also attempted to install Ubuntu on another clone Asus P5LD2-Deluxe and I couldn't even boot to the cd. Ubuntu installed fine on my Dell GX110 that is 8 years old. -- Grub - Error 21 returned https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/8978 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. -- Grub - Error 21 returned https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/8978 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
