Public bug reported: On boot, the volume and screen brightness sliders on the status menu are at their minimum value, despite both volume and screen brightness being set at a different level (as expected, the same levels they were on last shutdown).
Changing volume or brightness with keyboard shortcuts change the setting, but the sliders on the status menu are no updated. The sliders are functional when modified by dragging with the mouse, but their position remains fixed despite changing the settings afterwards by keyboard.
