i am confused. is "intel" or "i810" the newer driver? the web page you indicate talks only of the i810.
which driver is recommended to support sleep mode? should i understand your advice that i use "intel" and then set the screen orientation with a command during startup? (where is the best place to insert such a command? and why is the system -> preferences - screen resolution setting for orientation not working? (i have used xrandr for switching between different orientations in a .sh file. works fine with both drivers, but i have not used it for clone yet). thanks andrew -- intel driver does not honor CW command https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/172456 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
