Public bug reported: In ubuntu systems at least, /var/run is a symlink to /run. Usage of /var/run triggers a warning, like: zoneminder.conf:1: Line references path below legacy directory /var/run/, updating /var/run/zm → /run/zm; please update the tmpfiles.d/ drop-in file accordingly.
Just updating the systemd tmpfile is enough, but we should be more thorough and update RUNDIR properly in all the other places it's referenced, including d/rules. ** Affects: zoneminder (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1864653 Title: RUNDIR should be set to /run/zm, not /var/run/zm To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/zoneminder/+bug/1864653/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
