Public bug reported: I woke the laptop from sleep and pressed "space" key to unlock. Computer went crazy and started a loop of trying to display the password field. Also, there were multiple dropdowns on top of each other for the system tray menu.
I use variety, but i am not sure if this is the cause or it is some gnome-shell bug or both. Links to video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/3PxSPsDC5pSkK4P16 Also attaching a journalctl prevboot.
