Public bug reported: Two duplicate entries in apt sources, that exist due to no fault of my own, generated 49 entirely unnecessary warnings every single time I ran apt-update or added a ppa today.

The messages went away after deleting google-chrome.list and google- earth-pro.list but leaving google.list. You should not be harassing the user this way. Duplicate entries can occur. They are not a problem worthy of notifying the user, let alone harassing them. Approximate content of these files (based on the .save versions which I did not create) are shown below. Note that these resulted from following googles installation instructions for multiple google packages, probably google-chrome, google-earth, and google-earth-pro.
