Public bug reported:

ipmctl 02.00.00.3673+ds-2 uploaded in Focal Fossa introduces a
regression in that breaks show -memoryresources on ACPI PMTT v0.1 BIOS

With the new version of the package the following error occurs.
$ sudo ipmctl show -memoryresources
One or more DIMMs have invalid PCD data. A platform reboot is recommended to
restore valid PCD data, then try again.
With the previous version of the package this command worked.

This is mentioned in upstream bug report which suggests this error may be a
false positive and is linked to two fixes in testing branch:
https://github.com/intel/ipmctl/issues/123
https://github.com/intel/ipmctl/commit/a726e745dbdeb6112e24ccb40aab98e4d9a680ec
https://github.com/intel/ipmctl/commit/f481a3a4cecec59b53230c4a24f4e45d7192bb9d

** Affects: ipmctl (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
