The typo is in the error message only, it's not what's causing the error
itself. This is more likely
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1576364 (LDAP broken in
thunderbird 68 with SSL), which appears to be fixed by
https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-
esr68/rev/53d07d9d7f746ebcdc46e98d8acc5ce3cf261d95, which is available
in 68.3.1, which I'm working on bringing to bionic.
