I have the same problems as described in this bug. Every time I print something cupsd crashes with core dump and cups-browsed also crashes. My printer is a Samsung CLX 6260 Series. I can successfully print one job, then get the crash, then have to wait some minutes before the services are up again, and so on.
I found out that if I stop the cups-browsed service the problem goes away. This is fine for me as I've already added my printer manually and I don't need to automatically find new printers. For some odd reason, another copy of my printer is added even though the service was disabled. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1826648 Title: cupds crashes with core dump To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/1826648/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
