Hello, I have exactly the same problem. I'm running Ubuntu 18.04 LTS on Lenovo Legion Y540, I have configured a swap partition instead of a swap file and I have updated both /etc/fstab and /etc/default/grub files (and run update-initramfs and update-grub). When I try to hibernate with systemctl hibernate, the system is kinda shutting down, if I try to resume it by pressing the power button, it's like the system is starting from scratch (I can see the Lenovo image and the grub bootloader), then it succesfully restore the image previously swapped but it freezes when "suspending console(s) (use no_console_suspend to debug)". Kernel is 5.0.0-37-generic . Please tell me if I can provide more informations to help. Thank you
