Hi, Stefan's solution worked for me on Gutsy cd /etc/rcS.d ln -s ../network/if-up.d/mountnfs S41mountnfs Thanks.
This is the first ubuntu installation I've done and this bug has taken me by suprise. you know, mounting nfs from fstab is an old classic in the linux world. Then again, I am doing this with the desktop edition. Perhaps I should be using the server edition? By the way, what's the difference between the two? -- nfs shares not mounted at startup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/45842 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
