I don't if it has anything in relation but I also have troubles with my Cowon
D2 device.
I just pluged it in for the first time since gutsy and I got:

Unable to mount the volume 'D2'

,ountt: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error in some cases
useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so.

I tried dmesg | tail to get

[ 2968.312000] SCSI device sda: 3796992 512-byte hdwr sectors (1944 MB)
[ 2968.312000] sda: Write Protect is off
[ 2968.312000] sda: Mode Sense: 37 00 00 08

[ 2968.316000] sd 3:0:0:1: Attached scsi generic sg1 type 0
[ 2968.800000] FAT: Unrecognized mount option "usefre

I'll try and connect my device to another machine later today to test it up.
