I can confirm this bug on a Dell Vostro 1700 running Feisty.

It is definitely related with high network traffic, since it occurs
guaranteed within 40 minutes of remote X usage, whilst at other moments
it occurs only sporadicly.

This is the worst bug I have ever encountered in the 9 years I am using
Linux.
