Public bug reported: A multiuser system with local harddisk is usually setup correctly. at least correct enough to admin itself when it comes to permissions. removable mediums is another story entirely, One thing that burns me beyond compare is trying to secure unforeseen mediums that may be writable. It is by no way trivial and not everyone on the system should have such a right. permissions on unpredictable mediums should be far more easily controlled. at the moment. it appears impossible. Could this be made easier?
