Same here. My syslog fills up of "Thunar.desktop[3491]: [00007f0ee436b700] vdpau_chroma filter error: video mixer features failure: An invalid handle value was provided." lines at a rate of hundreds of MB per minute, until the system partition is entirely full.
If I do "sudo truncate -s 0 /var/log/syslog", then I have a few minutes during which I can send emails again, for example, but other than that, the system partition is 100% full and many operations are therefore impossible. This started happening after I bought a slightly less antiquated GPU for my comp. The NVidia X server setting app shows no problem, though. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1846374 Title: Having a video playing/paused when switched to another user generates gigabytes of error logs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-418/+bug/1846374/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
