I've just upgraded to Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy) hoping it would fix the problem, but it didnt. I'm still having the same problem. If I turn on my laptop and boot to Ubuntu my sound works, but after I restart to Windows or if I boot to Windows and restart to Ubuntu the sound doesnt work at all, although everything seems to be installed and recognized. Do you have any idea what the problem could be?
