Hello Sebastien! What happened was this: I downloaded the beta ISO from 19.10. When trying to install it by formatting the disk in ZFS, I noticed that the option has not been available in the installer.
I ran an apt update and apt full-upgrade and waited for the update to finish. After that, I proceeded with the installation and selected the entire disk to install with the ZFS partition. Upon reaching the installer part of the grub, the installation broke down. I don't understand much about it, but I think it's some compatibility issue between grub and ZFS. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1847635 Title: Ubuntu 19.10 installer crashed on install with ZFS To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub-installer/+bug/1847635/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
