I can reproduce it on 19.04. When using the Ambiant-MATE theme, Pluma and MATE Terminal have a dark background, while all the other applications have a white background. Intentional or not, this look is inconsistent with the rest of the apps.
This causes [some users](https://ubuntu-mate.community/t/pluma-ignoring- the-users-color-scheme/20124) a significant amount of additional effort when changing between the Ambiant Bright and Dark themes, as the background color in Pluma and Terminal has to be changed manually each time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1841518 Title: Default Pluma theme should be changed to match the rest of UM To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/1841518/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
