Hi Trevor, thanks for reporting this bug. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to mark it as "Invalid", however, as some of the content of the report isn't appropriate for the bug tracker (for the following reasons):
* All issues should be reported separately. This makes it much easier for people to track, discuss and fix individual problems. Discussion of 31 issues on one bug report would soon turn into a complete mess, and it would be impossible to mark just one point as fixed if someone was working on it. * Requesting packages to be included by default is difficult, because there's not much space left on the CD. It would probably be best to discuss this with the Desktop team [1] and then file individual wishlist bugs or blueprints [2]. * You need to provide justification for some of the issues, as it's not obvious what would be gained from implementing them, or whether the issue is in great demand. * Some of the issues have already been addressed/implemented in some way (e.g. 17) * Some of the issues go against specific design decisions and policies which have already been made, e.g. (19, 26 - Rhythmbox and Totem are specifically designed to be separate, single-purpose programs. The Rhythmbox developers are unlikely to add video support) Also, it's important to not set the Status or Importance of your own bugs. Otherwise, it would be impossible to tell which bugs had been independently confirmed and which hadn't. You can find more information on how to report bugs here [3]. Your feedback is valuable and I see a lot of good ideas which need to be discussed further, but unfortunately the bug tracker isn't the right place for many of them. I'll reply further later today in order to help you send the feedback to the most appropriate places.
