This is really frustrating. I set up SSH port forwarding so I could access my home mt-daap server from work. Rhythmbox is seriously defective if it can't pick up a local share and play music from it. Please fix this bug as soon as you are able. Why was this developed this way? Guess I'll try Amarok or other music players to see if I can get at the share.
