Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you?
I don't think it is a problem with your DVD drive.
I believe Linux is making some tests that Windows don't do.
It would be most likely your DVD media not compatible, but I am not sure at all.
