Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
1. I have about 3000 mails in my Inbox (imported from Thunderbird) 2. I created a new folder under On This Computer named "unfiled" 3. I dragged and moved all mails in my Inbox into unfiled 4. After moving for some time, I suddenly get an error message saying that "unfiled" folder is too big 5. I was unable to see on mails in the "unfiled" folders, when I click on the mail, an error saying "file is too big to be locked" popups 6. I found some of the mails (about 100+, out of 3000 moved) I moved inside the trash 7. When I restarted Evolution, I obtained a "file inbox#unfiled too large to be opened" error 8. My "unfiled" folder is gone along with all my mails ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Nov 20 16:45:32 2007 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evolution NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx Package: evolution 2.12.1-0ubuntu1 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcCmdline: evolution --component=mail ProcCwd: /home/lester ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_SG.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: evolution Uname: Linux berylium 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 23:05:12 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- Lost my mails when I moved a large number of mails between folders in Evolution https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/164017 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
