I don't know if this is a place to add a question, but can this error also be produced by a bad motherboard, or something similar? Not just possibly a bad cd rom? Because I have also been trying to install Windows XP, and it's not going so well. I had it once, and then it had a problem installing programs over the internet like aim, etc. Thanks for any help that can be given.
