I ran this: sudo echo "options snd-hda-intel model=auto" > /etc/modprobe.d/snd-hda-intel.conf and rebooted. That resulted in both the speakers and headphones working. But in gnome-control-center the sound test gave no sound on either. I have a dual boot system with windows 10 and I heard that there may be issues when quitting windows and loading Ubuntu. So I rebooted into windows and then rebooted back into Ubuntu. The speakers still worked, but the headset no longer works. I then rebooted ubuntu again with no change. Speakers work headset doesn't and the gnome-control-center doesn't' make any sound on either. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1829568 Title: [GL703VD, Realtek ALC295, Black Headphone left and right ] No sound at all To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1829568/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
