mmm... This bug occurs randomly :-/ With kernel 5.0.0, it occurs almost each time I power up my desktop, but if I hit Ctrl-Alt-Suppr, it can successfully boot on second or third run.
And moreover, this bus can occur with kernel 4.18.0-17 too, less frequently. Maybe, it could be a SATA cabling problem, because few days before first occurence (few days before Disco upgrade), I opened my laptop to plug a SATAÂ HDD. I removed this additional HDD, but the problem is still here. There is no I/O error in dmesg output. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1825987 Title: kernel 5.0 won't auto register bcache caching device To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1825987/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
