Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libavifile-0.7c2
In feisty, when using rig-thumbnail, linked against libavifile-0.7c2, was working fine, and had been for years of my using it. feisty had: 1:0.7.44.20051021-2.2ubuntu1 When I upgraded to gutsy, the same library, tagged as 1:0.7.47.20070718-1ubuntu2, it was built with some debugging info. Let me explain: Before: /usr/local/Rig/rig/thumbnail/rig_thumbnail.exe -i /var/www/Pix/new/100_PC.jpg [rig-thumbnail-result] jpeg 2560 1920 after: gandalf:/usr/local/Rig/rig/thumbnail# ./rig_thumbnail.exe -i /tmp/100_PC.jpg <init> : Avifile RELEASE-0.7.47-070916-12:47-4.1.3 <init> : Available CPU flags: fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 clflush dts acpi mmx fxsr sse sse2 ss ht tm pbe nx lm constant_tsc pni monitor ds_cpl vmx est tm2 ssse3 cx16 xtpr lahf <init> : 1000.00 MHz Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T7200 @ 2.00GHz processor detected [rig-thumbnail-result] jpeg 2560 1920 The extra output causes rig to fail, and quite frankly, I don't see why that library init should spew all that stuff. If you could fix, we would be most appreciative Thanks Marc ** Affects: avifile (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- libavifile built with some kind of unwanted debug info in gutsy (but not feisty) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/163267 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
