Public bug reported: simple-image-reducer fails to start. It prints the following output before failing: ``` Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/simple-image-reducer", line 28, in <module> import Image ImportError: No module named Image ```
I just installed it using apt and tried running it from the CLI. System info: ``` $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS Release: 18.04 $ apt-cache policy simple-image-reducer simple-image-reducer: Installed: 1.0.2-6 Candidate: 1.0.2-6 Version table: *** 1.0.2-6 500 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe amd64 Packages 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ``` What you expected to happen? The program to start and run nomally. What happened instead? It failed to start with the error pasted above. I managed to get the program working by applying the changes contained in the attached patch file. ** Affects: simple-image-reducer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Patch added: "patch" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1825832/+attachment/5257910/+files/patch -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1825832 Title: ImportError: No module named Image To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/simple-image-reducer/+bug/1825832/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
