With default smb.conf: 1. I go to Places>Network 2. I go to Windows Network 3. I go to penguin palace (my SMB workgroup) 4. I go to BANANA (my computer, with a Samba server up and running) 5. Nautilus hangs for about one minute and then says: Sorry, could not display all the contents of "Windows Network: banana." After modifying that directive it works just fine.
