I think this is not a bug. The right click menu seems to be entirely connected to the object in any case. No entry in the right-click menu of a node (duplicate, cut, paste, ...) is applied to the node itself. There seems to be no node-right- click menu that creates the context.
I think this is rather a question in how far node editing should be refined in way that introduces actual context sensitive right-click menus for nodes.
