What is the actual content of this file, could you upload it? /var/lib/dpkg/info/libisccc140:armhf.triggers After saving that file (it might be regenerated), you could try re-installing the package if this error was a one off? $ apt install --reinstall libisccc140 Does that work and resolve it or does the issue persist? For reference here what I have in this file: $ cat /var/lib/dpkg/info/libisccc140\:amd64.triggers # Triggers added by dh_makeshlibs activate-noawait ldconfig ** Changed in: bind9 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1823455 Title: package libisccc140 1:9.10.3.dfsg.P4-8ubuntu1.12 failed to install/upgrade: too-long line or missing newline in '/var/lib/dpkg/info/libisccc140:armhf.triggers' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bind9/+bug/1823455/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
