Following comment #28, I have re-packaged linux-firmware package to
include the firmwares from the two upstreams:

https://people.canonical.com/~ypwong/lp1818881/linux-firmware_1.173.3test1_all.deb
[2] 
https://people.canonical.com/~ypwong/lp1818881/linux-firmware_1.173.3test2_all.deb

You can grab them and use dpkg -i to install them.
