Public bug reported: Ciao Fabio! Don't mean to nag, but I'd like to alert you to the fact that there is a new multipath-tools release available at http://christophe.varoqui.free.fr/ (0.4.8), and has been so for quite some time now
Apart from various fixes and new hardware handlers and so on, this new version makes sure the multipath maps is not flushed on suspend, which is necessary for queue_if_no_path to be reliable in a all-paths-down scenario due to the SCSI transport removing device nodes on rport unavailability, causing multipathd to suspend and reload the map. In the current version this makes outstanding I/O be flushed in spite of queue_if_no_path being used, and I/O errors vill pass up to the VFS layer anyway... I hope you'll consider upgrading the Ubuntu package before the release of the new LTS release. :-) Thanks Tore ** Affects: multipath-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- New upstream version available https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/163076 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
