Same problem with a Dell Latitude d820, with ipw3945-wireless. When booting with hardware switch "on" network interface is recognized, and if I kill the wireless Nm-applet displays the "no signal" icon. After I reset the switch it doesn't do anything. I had never some random disconnections
After resuming from hibernation with kill-switch on (wireless off) a reboot is required to make the interface work again. Please increase bug priority, this problem is a showstopper. -- [gutsy] ipw3945-based wireless doesn't work after booting with wireless switch off https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121415 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
