Same here, I'm using opensuse Leap 15 and Ubuntu 18.10, both 4.12 and 4.18 kernel suffer the same issue. I'm using AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with Asrock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac board. I'll try updating the latest bios to see if things got fixed.
