Another big upgrade/update via apt . . . the PCManFM-QT file manager
issue (applet not launching the file manager window) problem seems to be
repaired, along with the 100 windows phenom . . . .

Checking on the version of LXQT now does show the latest version
"0.14.1" . . . however, the remaining  exclamation point remains over
the "Home" desktop icon . . . and double clicking continues to bring the
"Invalid desktop entry file: 'file:$HOME"  error window.

In the right-click menu and "properties" >"permissions" the "make file
executable" is checked "on" . . . but now there is an "advanced options"
toggle button (don't know if it was there before) . . . but the button
is "greyed out" and does not respond to clicks . . . unchecking the
"executable" box does not change the "greyness" of the advanced options
button . . . .
