@Alf, et al: Another big upgrade/update via apt . . . the PCManFM-QT file manager issue (applet not launching the file manager window) problem seems to be repaired, along with the 100 windows phenom . . . .
Checking on the version of LXQT now does show the latest version "0.14.1" . . . however, the remaining exclamation point remains over the "Home" desktop icon . . . and double clicking continues to bring the "Invalid desktop entry file: 'file:$HOME" error window. In the right-click menu and "properties" >"permissions" the "make file executable" is checked "on" . . . but now there is an "advanced options" toggle button (don't know if it was there before) . . . but the button is "greyed out" and does not respond to clicks . . . unchecking the "executable" box does not change the "greyness" of the advanced options button . . . . -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1814326 Title: home, root, and temp folders display errors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcmanfm-qt/+bug/1814326/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
